Atenas Hidalgo

Atenas Hidalgo is a senior at UNC Charlotte pursuing a double major in International Business and Marketing, with a minor in French. She is passionate about professional development, research, creative communication, and creating opportunities that help students connect their academic experiences with their future careers.

Atenas is actively involved in campus leadership as the Membership Management Director for the ALPFA UNC Charlotte chapter, where she supports student engagement, professional development, and membership initiatives. She has also been involved with the Business Learning Community and Women in Business, and previously completed a summer internship with Ally Bank, where she gained experience in the financial services industry and was offered a return opportunity.

Through her work with the Office of Undergraduate Research, Atenas enjoys using her marketing, communication, and creative skills to help promote undergraduate research and connect students with research opportunities. Outside of her academic and professional interests, she is also passionate about illustration and storytelling, bringing a creative perspective to her work.
