Higher education, whether that be a Master’s or PhD program, is a great way to continue your research experiences and deepen your knowledge of the research process. There are many scholarships and opportunities available to students to aid in their pursuit of research centered education and careers. 

Hertz Fellowship 

The Hertz Fellowship funds up to five years of doctoral study in the applied sciences, engineering and mathematics, including a stipend and full tuition equivalent. Beyond funding, fellows join the Hertz Community, a lifelong network of more than 1,300 innovators who mentor and collaborate with each other long after the fellowship ends. The Hertz Fellowship is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are college seniors, first-year graduate students or in a gap year before starting a PhD. NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program 

The purpose of the U.S. National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) is to help ensure the quality, vitality, and strength of the scientific and engineering workforce of the United States. Barry Goldwater Scholarship Foundation 

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to college sophomores and juniors who intend to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering. The Foundation helps ensure that the U.S. is producing the number of highly qualified professionals the Nation needs in these critical fields.
