ETHEL Submission Guidelines

Excellence, Transformation, Honor, Equity, and Leadership (E.T.H.E.L.) is UNC Charlotte’s official Undergraduate Research Journal, designed to highlight the innovative research, creative projects, and academic achievements of undergraduate students across all disciplines. The journal serves as a platform for students to publish their work, engage in scholarly discussions, and gain valuable experience in research and peer review.

With a mission centered around academic excellence, diversity, and leadership, ETHEL encourages students to develop critical thinking, research methodologies, and professional writing skills—all of which are essential for graduate studies and future careers.

Whether you are a first-time researcher or have already conducted studies within your field, ETHEL provides an accessible and inclusive platform for sharing your findings with a broader audience. Our new hybrid model allows students to submit a wide range of publication formats, making it easier than ever to contribute to the academic community.
